The collection consists of 80 pictures of and related to author, historian, and Hispanist, Gerald Brenan (British, 1894-1987). The majority of the items are copy negatives that are accompanied by photocopied inscriptions from the versos of the original prints. The photographic prints include portraits of Brenan, Ernest Hemingway, and Hetty McGee, as well as snapshots of Algeria and Sicily.
