964:0122:0001 -- Lai, Fong (Chinese, 1839?-1890). Street in Canton, 2 Aug. 1893, 1870s?. Albumen print, 28.8 x 23.6 cm (print); 38.7 x 29.7 cm (mount). The print title is the inscribed caption below the photograph. The date of 1893 is most likely the year the print was acquired by the original owner. The mount is likely a page from an album; on the other side of the page is 964:0122:0002 -- Unidentified photographer. Execution of 'Namoa' Pirates, 1891, 1891. Albumen print, 21 x 27 cm (print).
