The collection consists of 233 items, most of which are studio portraits of Eugene O'Neill (American, 1888-1953), his second wife, Agnes, and their children, Shane and Oona. There are also studio portraits of O'Neill's fellow Provincetown Players including playwrights, poets and actors. The bulk of the images are by Nickolas Muray and include studio portraits as well as copy prints of O'Neill's family photographs.
