Description:

The collection consists one photograph (gelatin silver print) that was internally transferred from the papers of poet and literary critic, Stanley Burnshaw (American, 1906-2005). The photograph is of Burnshaw's mother, Sonia (Sophy) Kivman, who was born in St. Petersburg in Czarist Russia on August 1, 1874. She died on April 25, 1930.

This collection forms a part of the Literary Files Photography Collection is comprised of photographs and albums withdrawn from the libraries and/or papers of literary figures, and generally includes portraits and images by, collected by, of, and/or related to those entities.
