The the collection consists of photographs and negatives of and related to author and art critic, George Moore (Irish, 1852-1933). Subjects include Moore alone and with others (P1-P7; 986:0031:0001-0002; 999:0036:0057); a view of his grave (P12); a carte-de-visite portrait of his brother Augustus Moore (980:0117:0001); and photographic reproductions of Impressionist paintings (P8-P11; 997:0105:0455). Included are nitrate negatives corresponding to P4-P6; P7 is a nitrate negative only. Identified photographers include: A. C. Cooper (P8-P11); and Lombardi & Co. (980:0117:0001).
