The collection consists of snapshots, formal portraits, and photographic postcards of poet Edmund Blunden (British, 1896-1974), his friends and colleagues, family members (Margaret, Lucy, Claire, and Frances Blunden, plus unidentified others), and The Times cricket team of 1952 (P1-P30, P34-P40). Also included is an album containing 19 photographic prints of a Japanese family, circa 1925?. Identified photographers whose work is found in the collection include: S. J. Herbert & Sons (P34); Jerome (P3); the New Standard Co. (P4); and Valentine & Sons (P35). |
