Description:

The collection consists of 36 photographs by Nickolas Muray (American, born in Hungary, 1892-1965). Included are two gelatin silver prints from the 1920s (2020:0007:0001-0002), two dye transfer prints (2020:0007:0003-0004) from the 1940s, and 32 color inkjet prints, which were printed in about 2005, that were made from original photographs taken in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Subjects include Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Nickolas and Peggy Muray, and others.
