Description: |
The collection consists of one photograph by Louis Crette (French-Italian, 1823-1872), who is also known as Luigi Cretté. Crette was born in Nice, France, at a time when the city was part of the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia. He was as active from 1853 with studios in Paris (1853-1854), Nice (circa 1858-1865), and Turin (1861-1867) where he died. Item-level information follows. |
