The collection consists of photographs of and related to novelist Fred Gipson (American, 1908-1973). Gipson is pictured alone (P1), with one or more dogs (P2-P4, P7), and with other people (P5-P6). One of the photographs (P1) is a color lantern slide. Identified photographers with work in the collection are Price of San Angelo, Texas (P6), and Clayton Schmidt of Mason, Texas (P2-P4).
