Description:

The collection consists of four photographs of and related to physicist Albert Einstein (German-American, 1879-1953). He is pictured alone (P1), with Maurice Solovine (P2), and with Solovine and Conrad Habicht (P3). The fourth photograph (P4) is of a memorial to Einstein sculpted by Robert Berks. Identified photographers include: Trude Fleischmann (Austrian-American, 1895-1990) (P1); Genia Reinberg (French, active 1910s-1930s) (P2); and Emil Vollenweider (Swiss, 1849-1921) (P3).
