West, Johnston and Company

The publishing firm of West, Johnston and Company was founded in Richmond, Virginia in 1860 by John Montgomery West and Thomas Johnston. For its first six years the firm was known as West and Johnston. The firm was in financial difficulty in the 1890s and went bankrupt in 1896.
