Contact for Isambard Owen, Sir   1850-1927

The heirs and copyright holders of Sir [Herbert] Isambard Owen were first his widow Dame Ethel Sarah Powell Owen (died in France, 1929) and then his two daughters Elizabeth Clemence Heulwen Isambard-Owen (died 1988) and Mabel Angharad Hedydd Isambard-Owen (died 1979). Any surviving copyrights of Sir Isambard Owen (including those in manuscripts held in the UK) will have been distributed by the long and complex will of Elizabeth Clemence Heulwen Isambard-Owen (probate Leeds, 23 February 1989). The beneficiaries of this will include Madame Germaine Léontine Angélique Lubin; Mrs Fanny Elizabeth Mary Lambert; Richard Holland Caton Haigh; Mademoiselle Janine Velaz; and the Monastère l'Annonciade, Thiais, France.
