The Albert Davis collection is comprised of seven boxes containing approximately 650 items. The time period represented is circa 1860 to Daviirca 1910. Subjects follow.

Box 1 -- Cabinet cards, stereo slides, post cards and magazine clippings relating to the Civil War;
Box 2 -- Prints of German, British, Romanian, Swedish, Norwegian and Belgian royalty;
Box 3 -- Cabinet card portraits of authors Francois Coppee (2 copies), Jean Richepin, George Robert Sims, Stanley John Weyman, and larger prints of "important people" - politicians, military figures, bishops, judges, etc., (chiefly by known photographers), and news articles;
Box 4 -- Armed forces pilots, women of society, foreign flyers, etc.;
Box 5 -- Famous people (e.g., the Thomas Edison family, Charles Lindberg), ace pilots, presidents, etc;
Box 6 -- Photos and postcards of locales around the United States (New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Baltimore), England, Japan and some unidentified places;
Box 7 -- Unprocessed materials.
