Description:

The 1915 September/October issue of the journal 291 that contains one photogravure by Alfred Stieglitz (American, 1864-1946) of his 1907 photograph The Steerage. Inscribed by Stieglitz to J. B. (Jsrael Ber) Neumann in 1924. The journal was produced collaboratively by Stieglitz, Paul B. Haviland, Agnes Ernst Meyer, and Marius de Zayas, and each issue was published in both a regular set and a "special edition limited to one hundred copies on special paper," in a portfolio.
