Description:

Unpublished portfolio containing 49 gelatin silver prints, mounted on boards, of male and female members of the Hitler-Jugend (Hitler Youth) in marches, at rallies, playing music, singing, hiking, camping, and engaging in sports and other outdoor activities. Also included are unidentified portraits. The photographs are housed in a cloth-covered clamshell box, stamped with the symbol of the leadership officers of the Hitler Youth Organization, and held closed by leather-bound talon-shaped hooks. This portfolio is one of four items which form the Wilkes Nazi Collection.
